Method and apparatus for improving ground

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To prevent the deformation of the ground by avoiding the volumetric expansion of improve ground by a method in which during injection, stirring, and drawing processes, soil amount which almost coincides with the amount of a solidifying agent to be injected is discharged through a screw mechanisms. CONSTITUTION:A stirring head 11 having an opening or closing stirring blade 14 on the lower end of a screw rod 13 is connected to the rod body 10. The rod body 10 is normally turned in the closed state by the blade 14 until excavated to the lower end of an improving section, the blade 14 is opened and pulled up while turning normally and injecting a solidifying agent S with high pressures, and the soil is discharged by the rod 13 at the same time as the stirring is made. The rod 10 is pulled up by normally or reversely turning under the condition that the blade 14 is closed in the section not to be improved. Since the volumetric expansion of the improved ground can be avoided and the deformation of the ground can thereby be prevented, the effect on the surrounding underground structure can be obviated.
