Midway stopping device for cableway

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To stop a cableway at a desired midway position as needed and to enable turn-around operation by supporting a bucket buffer in such a manner as to be switched between a normal position and a reverse position, permitting passing of the bucket at the normal position and stopping the bucket at the reverse position. CONSTITUTION:In case of operation such that a bucket 4A is not stopped at a midway stopping position 19A, a bucket buffer 50A is located at a normal position and if a feeder shoe 64 is lifted to a position 64, the bucket 4A can pass through the middle stop position 19A without interference. On the contrary, in case of operation such as to be stopped, the bucket buffer 50A is located in a reverse position, and when the feeder shoe 64 is lowered to a solid line position, the bucket 4A is correctly stopped at the midway stopping position 19A, and a collector 63 is brought into contact with the feeder shoe 64 to be put in the state of applying electric current. Thus, the bucket 4A can be stopped at a correct position by the bucket buffer 50A and there is no possibility that the collector 63 is deviated from the feeding range of the feeder shoe 64, and the transient oscillation of the bucket 4A at the time of stopping is damped in an early stage so that there is no possibility of poor conduction of electricity due to imperfect contact.
