Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To efficiently attain cooling so as to obtain high luminance and high reliability by generating channels linking airtight spaces for filling liquid in brackets for red, green and blue and fitting a part of the outer surface of the brackets in such a way that it is exposed from a case to an external part. CONSTITUTION:Together with generating airtight rooms 5', -1,5', -2,5', and -3 are generated in the bracket 6''' and opening parts 20-1, 20-2, 21-1 and 21-2 being the channels on the upper side and lower side of respective airtight rooms, the airtight rooms 5', -1,5', -2,5' and -3 are linked. By integrally generating the brackets for red, blue and green like the brackets 6'' and 6''', a space for fitting becomes unnecessary, and a distance (l) between projection tubes 1-3 and 1-1 and a projection tube 1-2 in a horizontal direction can be shortened. Consequently, a concentrated angle alpha' can substantially be reduced if projection distances are equal, and thus color shift can be reduced. The external surface of the brackets 6', 6'' and 6''' are fitted in such a way that it is expanded to the external part of the case 3.
