Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To prevent the dew condensation phenomenon on a distributing guide by forming the distributing guide of a distributing device into an interdigital shape consisting of many guide parts partitioned with slits. CONSTITUTION:A paper discharging selector 32 as the distributing device has 1st and 2nd distributing guides 51 and 52 disposed up and down putting a carrier path 24 between them and the distributing guides 51 and 52 are mounted on a paper discharging unit 53 to be freely turned through shafts 54 and 55. And the distributing guides 51 and 52 are formed in the interdigital shape consisting of many guide parts 76a... and 76b... partitioned with the slits 75.... Thus, permeability can be sufficiently kept and the dew condensation phenomenon on the distributing guides 51 and 52 caused by vapor generated from paper following the fixing action in a fixing device can be prevented, thereby preventing the paper from wetting.
