Clutch device for working machine

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To miniaturize a clutch in a power mowing machine, etc., by forming a clutch outer, a clutch inner, and a clutch plate into a funnel shape and superposing them. CONSTITUTION:The cutter holder 11 of a lawn mower is fitted on the bottom end of a crankshaft 9 via a bearing 10, while a funnel-shaped clutch outer 16 which is energized upward by a disk spring 17 is provided on the axially upper part thereof. And, a clutch inner 19 which is fitted and stopped on the shaft 9 and which has a frictionally engaging shoe 20 is provided on the upper periphery of the clutch outer 16 while a clutch plate 26 is provided on its upper part via a cam plate 21 fitted on the shaft 9 via a bearing 22 and cam balls 27, to form a clutch. Thus, since the power connecting/disconnecting parts of the clutch device is formed into a funnel shape while being superposed in the axial direction, the clutch can be miniaturized in both radial and axial directions.
