Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To prevent the damage of a magnetic iron plate caused by the contact between a rotator and a stator in the rotary machine in the caption by supporting the rotator in used of an auxiliary bearing in case of any accident on the magnetic flotation system of a magnetic bearing through a process of jointly using a super- conductive magnetic bearing and an ordinary conductive magnetic bearing. CONSTITUTION:During a normal operation, an equilibrium state is kept with out any contact of a rotator 4 to a stator 5 though the magnetic field produced by an electric magnet of a super-conductive magnetic bearing 1. The position of the rotator 4 is manifored by detection sensors 6, while a signal corresponding to its position changes the current of the electric magnet of a constant conductive magnetic bearing 2 through a servo system, and the position of a rotor can be changed. The magnetic field is maintered by the sensor so as to ascertain whether the super-conductive magnetic bearing 1 is in normal operation or not, the in case that electric current does not flow and super-conductive magnetic bearing 1 does not operate ordinarily, the holding of the rotator 4 at a fixed position by magnetic field as well as by the position adjustment can be achieved by varying the electric current of the magnet of the constant conductive magnetic bearing 2.
