Reflection color measuring instrument
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To improve the sensitivity of a measuring instrument by providing a light projecting jig which projects a parallel light beam on a plane to be measured at a >=20 deg. angles of reflection and a photodetecting jig which photodetectors its reflected light, and holding the angle of incidence and angle of reflection nearly equal and measuring an interference color. CONSTITUTION:This instrument is equipped with the light projecting jig (a) which projects the parallel light beam on the plane (c) to be measured at the angle theta1 of incidence larger than 20 deg.C and the photodetecting jig (b) which photodetects its reflected light at nearly the same angle theta2 of reflection. Further, light which is emitted by a lamp in a diffusion chamber is guided to the jig (a) composed of an optical fiber, and its reflected light is photodetected by the jib (b) and guided to a fiber for measurement. Then the jigs (a) and (b) are moved up and down about the center point of the plane (c) to be measured and associated with each other while the incidence angle theta1 and reflection angle theta2 are held nearly equal to each other, thereby measuring the interference color at the incidence angle theta1 and reflection angle theta2. Thus, the sensitivity is improved.
