Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To accurately detect an inferior insulator and to easily perform measurement even under solar rays, by providing a signal transmitting part for transmitting a measured value to the hand side of a measuring person and a quality judge part. CONSTITUTION:A detector consists of the measuring part 5 measuring the allotment voltage of the indivisual insulator provided to the leading end of an insulating rod 1, a signal transmitting part 6 transmitting a measured value and a quality judge part 9. The quality judge part 9 is equipped with an operation circuit 10 concentrating the measuring result of an indivisual insulator to a voltage distribution curve, a memory circuit 11 for storing the data of a healthy insulator series of every kind and a comparing circuit 12 performing the confirmation of the patterns between both circuits to detect the non-coincidence of the patterns. Then, the number of the insulators contained in the insulator series to be measured and systematic voltage are inputted, the voltage distribution curve corresponding thereto is called out from the memory circuit 11 and the insulating rod 1 is operated to measure the allotment voltage of the indivisual insulator 30 by the measuring part 5. Next, the allotment voltage is converted to a voltage distribution curve by the operation circuit 10 to judge the coincidence and non-coincidence of patterns by the circuit 12.
