Insecticide
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE: To obtain an insecticide capable of attaching the insecticide as fine particles to a target by rubbing, by blending and dispersing an insecticide such as pyrethroid and/or pyrethrin into a solid calcareous material capable of being ground into fine particles and properly molding. CONSTITUTION: An insecticide (e.g. pyrethroid or pyrethrin) is blended and dispersed into a solid calcareous material (e.g. plaster of Paris) capable of being ground into fine particles in the blending ratio of 3W5:95W97 and properly molded to give an insecticide. When used, the insecticide is rubbed on a proper position, attached as fine particles to the position, insect pests are brought into contact with the insecticide and can be killed. Further as long as the attached insecticide is not wiped out, the insecticide can maintain insecticidal effects for a long period. Since the insecticide will not be scattered, there is not fear of causing environmental pollution. COPYRIGHT: (C)1989,JPO&Japio
