Voice response device

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To attain the reproduction of voice with high quality by storing voice information into a voice response device provided separately with a computer external storage device and adopting the PCM recording system for the recording medium of the voice response device while using a CO-ROM. CONSTITUTION:The CD-ROM storing a required voice unit for generating an optional word in the PCM system, a D/A converter converting the output signal of the CD-ROM into a voice signal, and a communication controller controlling the readout head of the CD-ROM based on the reception of address information from a computer storing index address information for each voice unit stored in the CD-ROM in the order of address information and detecting a multiplex frequency signal from a public line to send a numeral data of a pushphone to the computer are provided. Since the voice is recorded by a substantial acoustic equipment, the voice is recorded with quality of voice close to excellent natural voice.
