Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To simplify constitution of a device and to attain its sure and prompt action by mounting a turret, which is equipped with a turret gear in the inside providing plural grips clamping a tooling to be arranged in the periphery, rotatably to a base by a mounting shaft. CONSTITUTION:When a spindle head 1 is lifted from a position in the drawing, a lifting rod 7 lifts a roller 19, and a device, removing a roller 20 of a lever 6 from a supporting block 10 of a base 3 while guiding a cam follower 9 by the cam action of the first cam 2, swivels the base 3 to a side of the spindle head 1 by the action of a spring 8. However, the device, in which the cam follower 9 receiving the cam action is integrally formed with the base 3, performs transmission of force such that a turret 5 receives the action of the cam 2 without amplifying vibration of the cam follower 9. While the device, which prevents the turret 5 from turning by engaging a turret gear 16 with a tooth of a stopper lever 15, does not impair sureness of work by unnecessarily moving the turrent. Consequently, the device, reduces vibration generated in the turret when it performs tool exchange, promotes the high speed of automatic exchange of a tool and the sureness of its action.
