Image synthesizing method

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To shorten a data processing time by providing an address generating means to vary a density to the area of picture elements to belong to respective images for each picture element of two kinds or above of image data in a two-dimensional coordination direction to the images and to display it, transparency-synthesizing two kinds of the images or above so as to reduce the quantity of a calculation. CONSTITUTION:Two kinds of picture data or above on each picture element of the image of a display 3 are respectively stored in an address to correspond to the two-dimensional coordination on the screen of the picture element in memories 1 and 2. A processor for a data processing alternately reads out one of two kinds or above of image data of respective picture elements at a prescribed rate from the address of the memories 1 and 2 to the two-dimensional coordination direction of the picture element, based on the address fo be successively generated by an address generating means 5. Accordingly, a transparency synthesizing image, in which two kinds or above of image strips line up by alternately overlapping at a prescribed rate in the two-dimensional direction is displayed in the screen of the display 3. Thus, since it is not necessary to calculate the mean value of the both image data, the quantity of a calculation can be reduced and the data processing time can be shortened.
