Inspecting system for sealant using vision sensor
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To raise an effect of the automatization of the whole when a sealing work is automatized by a robot, etc., by inspecting automatically a state of a sealant by a vision sensor, and eliminating the need of an inspection by a worker's visual observation. CONSTITUTION:The sealant fitting surface of a part 3 to which a sealant 4 has been allowed to adhere is photographed by an industrial camera 1, and an image of the sealant fitting surface is inputted to the inside a vision sensor. Subsequently, based on a sealant image density reference which is taught in advance from this image, a position of the sealant 4 is detected, a normal 42 is derived at every picture element with respect to the continuous direction of a sealant image 4a which is detected, and this derived normal 42 derives width (u) for crossing the sealant 4a. By outputting an alarm signal, when the width (u) which is derived in such a way is below a set value U, the sealant is inspected automatically. In such a way, when a sealing work has been automatized by a robot, etc., an effect of the automatization of the whole is raised.
