Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To inform an operator of arrival of data without telephoning again by calling him with an extension telephone by prescribed instruction from the transmission side to transmit a prescribed message. CONSTITUTION:A control part 22 transmits a select signal to an extension 11 through a communication part 21 by a select signal output circuit 24 and controls a private branch exchange 10 to call a prescribed extension telephone set 31. The call to the extension telephone set 31 is controlled by the destination station connected through a line aerie 12. Thus, even if a facsimile equipment 20 is installed in a position considerably distant from each operator, the extension telephone set of each operator is called by proper instruction from the transmission side to transmit various voice messages.
