Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To protect a cartridge and its disk by providing a buffer material around an outer periphery of a cartridge main body and absorbing mitigatively a shock, such as a fall or an external shock, etc. CONSTITUTION:The cartridge is consisted of the cartridge main body 1 for housing the disk and a shutter 2 provided freely openably and closably to said main body 1, whereas the buffer material 3 is provided to, e.g., the corners and the side angular parts of the cartridge main body 1. Consequently, the cartridge is protected by the buffer material 3 provided around the outer periphery of the cartridge main body 1 against the shock to this cartridge at the time of its fall or something else by way of mitigatively absorbing the shock. By this method, the shock against the disk housed in the cartridge can also be mitigated.
