Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To facilitate operation while preventing a malfunction and to improve safety by detecting the presence of an input from the change of electrostatic capacity while using a plurality of mutually insulated detecting electrodes installed on a window pane or the like as input means. CONSTITUTION: The controller comprising a lock mechanism, a CPU 1, state setting means 2-4, an interruption generator 5, a code storage means 6, electrostatic-capacity detecting means 7-9 and detecting electrodes EL1-EL3 mounted on a window pane is constituted. When the presence of inputs is detected by the increase of electrostatic capacity by inputting to the detecting electrodes EL1 or the like, codes are prepared by using a plurality of codes displaying the presence or absence of inputs without fitting a large number of switches by utilizing the eight combination of the presence or absence of the three electrodes EL1 or the like, and safety is improved. A small number of the comparatively large electrodes EL1 or the like are separated mutually and can be mounted in a limited space, and the lock-mechanism controller can be operated even at the time of difficult visual recognition.
