Fuel pressure control device
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To prevent a vapor locking at the starting time by cutting off a fuel passage at the lower stream side of the branch of the fuel passage up to a fuel injection valve, with a fuel passage control valve, when the temperature of the fuel fed to the fuel injection valvg is high. CONSTITUTION:When the engine is restarted on condition of a high engine temperature, the fuel temperature detected by a fuel temperature sensor 7 is compared with a specific temperature in a fuel temperature deciding device, and when it is higher than the specific temperature, a signal to close a fuel passage control valve 5 is output at the first control device, and the fuel passage control valve 5 cuts off a fuel passage 9b. When the fuel passages 9 and 9b are closed and a fuel pump is driven, the fuel pressure in the passages rises up to the allowable pressure of a check valve 2c. Even though an internal combustion engine 6 is driven on such a condition, and a suction pipe negative pressure is generated in a suction pipe 8, the fuel in the fuel passages 9 and 9b receive no influence from a fuel regulating valve 4, and a high pressure is maintained.
