Line solid state image sensor
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To eliminate an accurate positioning between a picture element and a filter by increasing the minimum size of one pixel thereby to easily form a line sensor by arraying two rows of picture elements in a zigzag manner in the sensor. CONSTITUTION:Pixels 1a-3a of first row and picture elements 1b-3b of second row are alternately arranged in a zigzag manner, and the pictures are partitioned therebetween by a channel stopper 4 of predetermined width. When filters of the same color are noted, the disposing positions of the respective color filters are determined so that the arraying position (of the picture 1b) of the second row is disposed just at the intermediate position of the arraying position (e.g., of the pixel 1a) of the first row of the filter. Thus, even if the filters of the same color are presented by one per 3 pixels in each row, if those of the first and second rows are combined, it exists by one per 3/2 pixels. Accordingly, low positioning accuracy may be allowed to easily form it.
