Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To obtain the title adhesive which will give an improved bond strength between a metallic foil and a hydrophilic synthetic resin film, by adding a phosphoric salt or ester to an aqueous suspension made by dispersing a thermoplastic adhesive powder. CONSTITUTION:The title adhesive is obtained by adding 0.01-3pts.wt., based on 100pts.wt. adhesive, phosphoric salt (e.g., ammonium phosphate) or phosphoric ester (e.g., trimethyl phosphate) to a suspension made by dispersing 10-80wt% thermoplastic adhesive powder (e.g., an ethylene ionomer resin powder) having a particle diameter of 10-1,000mu in water.
