Digitizing method

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To reproduce a positioning path using digitized data and shorten the length of a prepared NC tape by taking in the present position of a contact and digitizing every time positioning by NC function is completed. CONSTITUTION:A program including positioning data that positions a contact TH of a digitizing system and copying data that specifies copying operation is executed, and the position of the contact TH is controlled, and positional data of the contact TH is taken in and digitized. It is judged whether the program data is positioning data or not, and in case of positioning data, the contact TH is moved along positioning paths PT1, PT2 shown by dotted lines basing on NC function of a digitizer. By completion of positioning by the positioning data, block contacts PS1-PS2... that determine present position of a contact PT are taken in and digitized.
