Image processing method

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To convert the image of an image information recording medium with high efficiency by reading the image in accordance with recording instruction information in which errors are checked and corrected, and digital-recording it. CONSTITUTION:A camera 12 photographs an original 10, and a microfilm 16 is generated through a processing 14. The image of the microfilm 16 is projected on a screen 30. While viewing the image, recording instruction information of the image to be converted is inputted to an optical disk file, and is recorded in a floppy disk 38 after the errors are checked and corrected. The film 16 in which the mentioned processings are completed, and the disk 38 are respectively loaded on a microfilm scanner 40 and a file controller 41, and the frame- feeding, reading and digitization of the film 16 are executed according to the recording instruction information of the disk 38, whereby digital image data is recorded in an optical disk 54.
