Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To reduce speed change operation force by providing springs for energizing a movable sheave to a fixed sheave side between a moving block movable only in the axial direction and a movable sheave and linking both axially moving blocks to each other through a resilient force adjusting means. CONSTITUTION:Moving blocks 13, 14 movable only in the axial direction are provided on a driving shaft 5 and a driven shaft 6 respectively, and movable sheaves 9, 10 are provided between the movable block 13 and a fixed sheave 7, and between the movable block 14 and a fixed sheave 8 respectively. Further, springs 15-18 for energizing the movable sheaves 9, 10 toward the fixed sheaves 7, 8 are provided respectively, the moving blocks 13, 14 are connected to each other through linkage members, 25, 26 and an interval L is adjusted by a resilient force adjusting means S. More, a position fixing means 33 is provided, and rotating speed is kept almost constant when load fluctuations are large. Accordingly, low cost and space saving can be planned, and transmission efficiency can be improved because of being operated by small operating force even in a high load condition.
