Mold for two color molding for cassette half

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To attempt to reduce the cost of a mold and to improve the productivity, by providing a space corresponding to a prism part in a movable mold and providing a plurality of cores forming spaces connecting to this space and corresponding to a window part in such a way that they are movable in the mold release direction. CONSTITUTION:A piston rod 25a of an oil cylinder 25 is forwarded and a core back assembly 17 is moved in an integral state. The apex face of a main core 18 is brought tightly into contact with a fixed mold plate 10 and the apex face of a sub core 20 coincides with the upper face of the main core 18. A space 24 corresponding with a prism part is shielded from a space 27 corresponding a frame part 4. Under this condition, an opaque resin is passed through in the first resin path 28 and injected in the space 27 to mold the frame part 4 of a cassette half 1. Then, the piston rod 25a of the oil cylinder 25 is retreated and a transparent resin is passed through in the second resin path 29 and injected in the above described space to mold a window part 2, a transparent resin part 5, a base part 6 and a prism part 3.
