Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To improve transmission efficiency, by applying a time diversity processing through the use of a resent block data. CONSTITUTION:A transmission side, after receiving a resending request signal, transmits again the data block of the signal. A reception signal is processed same as in the first processing, and its reproducing block data, and reception level are stored in a buffer memory 6. An arithmetic control part 7 reads in the reproducing block data, and the reception level at the previous time from a memory 10, and the reproducing block data, and the reception level at this time from the buffer memory 6, respectively corresponding to the bit of each block data, and compares both reception levels, and performs the time diversity that substitutes the data having a high reception level, and reception level, for the data and the reception level of a corresponding bit in the memory 10. Afterwards, the arithmetic control part 7 reads in the block data on which the time diversity processing is applied stored in the memory 10, and peforms error detection, and repeats a resending transmission/reception processing when an error is detected.
