Camera with reptractable zoom lens

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To reduce the width in the front and rear directions of a camera as far as possible by providing a 2nd cam frame which changes the position of a lens by moving cooperatively with a 1st cam frame. CONSTITUTION:The outside cam frame 11 is turned, by which a pin 16 is pushed to and moved by an oblique cam hole 11a and is thus retreated; therefore, a lens barrel is sunk into the housing position in the camera body in the case of housing the lens barrel into the camera. A pin 20 is retreated by passing a rectilinear cam hole 11b at this time and consequently, the inside cam frame 19 is turned reverse from the above-mentioned direction so that a pin 23 of a rear group lens frame 22 and a pin 26 of a front group lens frame 25 are transferred to the regions of the respective oblique cam holes 21a, 21b and the spacing between the rear group lens and front group lens is narrowed to a close distance having no relation with optical conditions. The length of the lens barrel is thereby shortened.
