Inkjet recording head surface treatment method
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To perform uniform surface treatment and to eliminate the roughness or damage of the surface around an ink emitting orifice, by providing a process for transferring the surface treatment agent provided on a support to the surface of the ink emitting orifice. CONSTITUTION:A support 9 coated with an ultraviolet curable photosensitive resin solution (surface treatment agent) 10 is pressed to an ink jet recording head 10 and subsequently separated from said head to make the surface treatment agent 110C' stay on the surface of an ink emitting orifice and the surface provided with the surface treatment agent 110C' is turned upwardly to be irradiated with ultraviolet rays from an ultrahigh pressure mercury lamp of 1kW for 1 min from above to apply curing treatment to the surface treatment agent 110C' and a surface treatment layer is formed to the surface of the ink emitting orifice. As the support 109, a polyester film (25mum thickness) is used and the coating of the support 109 with the surface treatment agent 110 is performed by a wire bar coater.
