Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To confirm trouble contents of the transmission side, where trouble occurs, by encoding trouble contents of each trouble event on this transmission side and adding and synthesizing them with a line disconnecting instruction signal to transmit them and decoding them on the reception terminal side to display them of each trouble event. CONSTITUTION:A trouble information encoding part 1 consists of an encoder 1a and a DCN generating part 1b; and if a trouble information signal 11 of a terminal indicating jamming of transmission originals or the like, a trouble information signal 12 inputted by operator's switch operation, or a trouble information signal 13 on communication procedures is received, the encoder 1a converts the received signal to a corresponding and preliminarily set code and the DCN generator 1b adds and synthesizes this code with the line disconnecting instruction signal to output a trouble information code 14. A communication control part 3 modulates the trouble information code 14 and outputs it to a communication line 15 and releases the call. If similar trouble information is received from the terminal of the other party during reception, it is demodulated to output a trouble information code 14a. A decoding part 4 decodes the trouble information code 14a to output a trouble information signal for each trouble event. A display part 5 receives the output from the decoding part 4 to display trouble contents of each trouble event of the transmission side.
