Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To obtain a nonvolatile memory whose writing time is shortened by providing a memory block, a write/read circuit means, a signal storing means and a selecting means. CONSTITUTION:The same numbers of the signal memory means 14 as that of bit lines BL1-BLn are provided. Then the number of the signal memory means 14 is selected, for example, in a 8 bits unit, by address data and after the data which is previously written is sequentially stored in the 8 bits unit in all the signal memory means 14, write voltage is supplied to integrally all the bit lines based on the stored data. Thus since the bit line can be written in a memory cell during one writing time, the whole writing time can be shortened.
