Knocking control device for internal combustion engine
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To prevent the wrong correction of a decision level, by inhibiting the knocking decision level from its correction only for a predetermined time and enabling a delay of statistic calculation by a knocking decision level correcting means to be corrected when an engine operative condition, after it rapidly changes, reaches a steady condition. CONSTITUTION:A knocking intensity value detecting means B, which detects a knocking intensity value from an output of a knocking sensor A, and a decision level creating means C, which creates a knocking decision level, are provided. And a decision means D, deciding knocking to exist or not by comparing the knocking intensity value with the knocking decision level, controls a knocking control factor of the ignition timing or the like through a driving means E in accordance with the results of the decision. While a steady discriminating means F, which discriminates whether or not an internal combustion engine is placed in a steady condition, is provided, and the knocking decision level, when the engine is in a steady condition, is corrected by a correcting means G on the basis of the statistic calculation results, but here the decision level is inhibited from its correction by a steady signal delay means H for the predetermined time after the engine reaches a steady condition.
