System for managing knowledge base file

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To obtain the results in many fields in a single expert system by using a knowledge base part and a mailbox part and securing mutual communication among plural knowledge base files. CONSTITUTION:A knowledge base part 1 contains plural knowledge base files, a knowledge base list file that takes a look at these knowledge base files, and a directory which controls each knowledge file. A mailbox part 2 includes plural queue mailboxes that extract messages in response to those knowledge base files respectively, and a mailbox which controls those queue mailboxes. That is, the part 1 is controlled by a directory and the part 2 is queued so as to extract messages for each knowledge base under the mailbox control. Then the knowledge base control unit is turned into a virtual form and a common protocol for communication is specified between different knowledge base controls. Thus it is possible to obtain the results in many fields.
