Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To contrive an excellent reproduction without generating a useless reproducing operation by recording the information of a music number corresponding to each music and start/end time to a TOC (Table of Contents) part and applying the operation control based on the information. CONSTITUTION:The information of music number and start/end time recorded to the TOC part of a recording disk 1 is copied into a buffer memory 19. Moreover, the information of the music number and start time of a 1st music is written in the memory 19 and the recording operation is started. An output from an A/D converter 25 is sent to a microcomputer 17 and the interblock in the music for 3sec or above is detected automatically. The similar processing is applied to a 2nd and succeeding musics and when the recording is finished, the music numbers stored in the memory 19 are arranged, that is, duplicated music numbers are eliminated or a preceding music whose head is lost is erased and the information in the memory 19 is recorded to the TOC part of the disk 1. Thus, useless reproduction is avoided and excellent reproduction is attained.
