Paper sheet conveying device

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To convey paper sheets in a conveying direction in horizontality, by installing a device which performs the positional compensation of these paper sheets on the basis of the count value of a timer. CONSTITUTION:If a flag is set, a sensor 3 is turned on in advance, namely, the right side of a bill is conveyed in advance, so that there is necessary to drive a right side of the bill, setting right and left to the same position. Therefore, a motor M2 is reversely rotated, driving the belt 1 in the reverse direction against the conveying direction. And, when the flag is left reset intact, since it is in the case where a sensor 4 is turned on in advance, namely, the left side of the bill is conveyed in advance, the motor M2 is rotated clockwise, the right belt 1 is driven in the conveying direction, making the right side of the bill go forward. Simultaneously with a rotation start of the motor M2, a timer is started. Conveyance keeps on till the count value of the timer becomes equal to the prestored count value, and when it is equalized, the motor M2 is stopped while the time is stopped as well and cleared.
