Heat exchanging panel

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To provide the heat exchanging panel, capable of attaching simply a plurality of heat pipes at the same place, by a method wherein a plurality of heat pipes is put between two sheets of oblong heat transfer plates with a predetermined interval in the widthwise direction of the plates. CONSTITUTION:The main body 10 of the panel is constituted of two sheets of oblong heat transfer plates 11, 12 of heat conductive material and formed with grooves 11a, 12a, extending opposingly in longitudinal direction with equal width intervals and accommodating three sets of heat pipes 20, while the opposing surfaces of the plates except the opening sections of respective grooves 11a, 12a are welded through seam welding to obtain the sealed condition of respective grooves 11a, 12. The heat pipe 20 is constituted of a slender outer tube 21 in which a heat medium is sealed, a slender inner tube 22 arranged so that both ends thereof are communicated with the inside of the outer tube 21 and a wick member 23 of glass fibers loaded between the outer tube 21 and the inner tube 22. When one end of the outer tube 21 is heated, the heat medium is evaporated and moved to the other end to effect heat dissipating operation, further, is circulated to one end of the outer tube 21 through the wick member 23 to effect heat exchanging operation.
