Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To prevent the excess supply of oil and the reverse transfer of an offset toner by releasing the first roll, which is brought into contact with a heat roller and another roller when copying is performed, from this contact when copying is stopped. CONSTITUTION:After a device is switched from the print-off state to the print-on state, a rotary solenoid 5 is operated immediately and a coating roller 3 is moved down through a link mechanism 6 to bring this roll 3 into contact with a heat roller 1 and an oil incorporating roller 4 (as shown by a broken line). Then, a supply path of the oil is formed, and the oil is coated on the surface of the heat roller 1 to prevent sticking of the toner. Thereafter, the rotary solenoid 5 is operated to move the coating roller 3 upward (as shown by a solid line) just before the device is switched to the print-off state. Since the coating roller 3 is released from contact with the heat roller 1 and the oil incorporating roller 4 by this operation, the coil supply is broken.
