Automatic two-sided image forming device

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To prevent both front and back surfaces of transfer paper from the change of picture quality and to obtain images of high quality copied on both sides by setting up a fixing temperature at the formation of images on both the sides of the transfer paper lower than that of the image formation only on one side. CONSTITUTION:When toner is sticked to the upper surface of a transfer paper and the paper is fixed, a fixing heater 22 in an upper fixing roller 5a to be used at the time of surface copying is controlled by a temperature control member 24 and set up to a comparatively low temperature capable of preventing toner from being separated from the transfer paper during the carrying of the fixed transfer paper. The fixing heater 22 in the upper fixing roller 5a controlled at a temperature capable of preventing the toner from being separated from the transfer paper by the temperature control member 24 at the fixing of the upper surface is controlled to a higher temperature capable of performing the complete fixing of both the upper and lower surfaces.
