Method and reagent for immunochemical measurement of human carcinoembryonic antigen
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To make it possible to measure CEA with high accuracy, in an enzymatic immunoassay according to a sandwich method, by using two kinds of CEA antibodies and further using peroxidase as a marker in a state bonded to one of said antibodies by a predetermined compound. CONSTITUTION:In enzymatic immunoassay according to a sandwich method of human carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA) using an antibody held on a carrier, an antigen and an antibody having a marker bonded thereto, the antibody held on the carrier and the antibody having the marker bonded thereto are two kinds of antibodies not overlapping antigenic derminant sites with each other. Peroxidase is used as the marker and bonded to the antibody by a compound represented by formula (wherein n is an integer of 0-5 and R is a chemical bond or a divalent 6-membered hydrocarbon residue). Two kinds of antibodies may be either one of monoclonal and polycronal CEA antibodies but at least one of them is pref. the monocronal antibody.
