Antenna system

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To attain miniaturization and light weight and to progress the improvement of performance with simple constitution by providing a nearly ring-shaped supporting member freely turnably and using the supporting member so as to surround an antenna on an axis orthogonal to its turning shaft thereby approaching X and Y axes of the antenna and using the space effectively. CONSTITUTION:The supporting member 10 of nearly ring-shape is provided freely turnably and the antenna 20 is supported freely turnably by a shaft 18 nearly orthogonal to the turning shaft of the supporting member 10. Fixed shafts 12, 13 projected opposingly in the inner diameter direction are fitted in one face of the supporting member 10 by using a fixture 14 and a screw 15 or the like and the shaft 18 is supported freely turnably to the tip of the fixed shafts 12, 13 via bearing members 16, 17 respectively. The bearing 20 of the antenna system is driven around the X axis by the turning of the supporting member 10 and driven around the Y axis in the supporting member 10 to apply desired azimuth and elevating angles and the directivity A is controlled.
