Dielectric filter

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To mount a filter with good space efficiency by forming a flat shape of a block surface orthogonal to an axial line of a resonance hole of a dielectric block to an optional shape having a bending part or a curved part to at least a part along the lengthwise direction. CONSTITUTION:The plane shape of an upper face 11a of the dielectric block 11 orthogonal to axial line of resonance holes 12-14 is formed to a shape including a curved part 11b at least at a part along the lengthwise direction, that is, the plane shape of the block 11 is formed to nearly L-shaped as required. Thus, in mounting the block to a radio equipment case having various shapes having a curved part or a curved face, a useless space (dead space) is not caused in response to the shape of the case to attain efficient mounting and the radio equipment is miniaturized.
