Voltage doubler electrostatic high-tension generating set

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To miniaturize units, by laminating a plurality of the layers of charged carrier units in the direction orthogonal to the charged carrier direction, and by arranging charged carrier transfer paths between the respective adjacent charged carrier units. CONSTITUTION:Two disc-type charged carrier units 20A, 20B are organized by arranging a plurality of conductive pellets 22a, 22b on the periphery of insulating discs 21A, 21B, and are laminated at prepared intervals on an insulating rotary shaft 25 connected directly to the rotary shaft 24 of a driving motor 23, and are rotated at a specified rotational frequency by the driving motor 23. Between the charged carrier units 20A, 20B, a charged carrier transfer path device 50 consisting of inductors 27, 28, 31, 32 for the charged carrier transfer paths is placed. From a high-tension electrode 30 set on the upper section of the charged carrier unit 20B, high-tension voltage doubler obtainable from the charged carrier units 20A, 20B can be obtained.
