Apparatus for detecting angle
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To inexpensively constitute the title detection apparatus having a high processing speed and high dissolving power, by providing a change-over means for increasing the offset value and gain of an amplifying apparatus in such a range that a sine wave like signal containing angle-of-rotation information reaches a predetermined value or more. CONSTITUTION:An angle theta of rotation is detected by an angle detection circuit 2 to form a since wave signal sintheta containing angle information and a cosine wave signal costheta and one of both signals is inputted to a judge and offset gain change-over amplifying means 30. The input signal is compared with a predetermined value in said means 30 so that the offset value and gain of the amplifying means 12 are largely changed over during a period allowing said input signal to come to the predetermined value or more, that is, in the vicinity of the peak value of the since wave like signal. The output of this amplifying means 30, the detection signal not inputted to the amplifying means 30 and the judge information in the amplifying means 30 are inputted to a table converter 22 and calculated to output the signal D corresponding to the angle theta.
