Picture information controlling system

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To reflect the latest picture information on the screen of a display device irrespectively of the controlling right of the screen, by constituting a picture information controlling system of a picture information controlling mechanism, virtual picture information storing mechanism, auxiliary storing device, picture information selecting/displaying mechanism, and the display device. CONSTITUTION:A picture information controlling mechanism 1 analyzes an input-output request and causes a virtual picture information storing mechanism 2 to secure a virtual picture information storing buffer 2I for a program PI. If virtual picture information corresponding to the program PI exists, the mechanism 2 updates the virtual picture information and writes the updated information on the buffer 2I. The picture information controlling mechanism 1 outputs a control signal indicating the existence of an input-output request from the program PI to a picture information selecting/displaying mechanism 4. If the mechanism 4 decides on the basis of the control signal that the program PI is the one having the controlling right of a screen, the picture information selecting/displaying mechanism 4 outputs picture information to a display device 5.
