Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To obtain adequate seat arrangement for one-person use and two- person use by providing a saddle type seat at the center section of the deck rear half section at the rear of a hull, forming steps on both sides, and making the seat rear section swayable in the lift direction to provide a back rest section. CONSTITUTION:In a small speedboat, an engine 2 is equipped at the front section of a hull, a person is seated at the deck rear half section 5 and holds a handle 7 fitted swayable up and down at the front section of the hull to steer the speedboat. A saddle type seat section 8 protruding upward is provided at the center section of the deck rear half section 5, and step sections 9 are formed on both sides. The rear section 10 of the seat section 8 is made swayable in the lift direction and is made a back rest section when erected. When one person is on board, the seat rear section 10 is erected as a back rest section to hold an attitude; when two persons are on board, it is prostrated to form a saddle type seat, thus adequate seat arrangement can be obtained in response to the number of persons on board.
