Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To sharply reduce the storage quantity of a memory, by accumulating data signals mixed with voices at the same bit rate. CONSTITUTION:A CODEC 541 performs DA conversion and decoding, sends information regarding the kind of a data terminal (speed and synchronizing system) to a data terminal interface controller 543, and controls the clock pulse for the reception and synchronization controlling command of a universal transmitter-receiver 542. The universal transmitter-receiver 542 performs the serial-parallel conversion of data in accordance with the control of the CODEC 541 and sends data to an accumulation controller 59. When data are sent to a circuit, conversely, the accumulation controller 59 discontinues the sending of voice data under the control of a central controller 58 and the universal transmitter-receiver 542 performs the parallel-serial conversion of data, and then, the CODEC 541 performs an DC conversion and encoding to 64kb/sPCM codes.
