Video printer signal processing device
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To reduce the capacity of an expensive frame memory to a half by selecting a luminance signal and color difference signals as stored information of the frame memory and subjecting to RGB conversion after D/A conversion. CONSTITUTION:An inputted NTSC signal is converted to a luminance signal Y and color difference signals R-Y and B-Y by a color difference converter 101 in an analog signal processing part 1. They are converted from analog signals to digital signals by an A/D converter 103. As the result, it is sufficient if each of memories for color difference signals is 1/8 for the signal Y with respect to the memory capacity of a frame memory 2 where digital signals are stored. These picture data stored in the frame memory 2 are converted to analog signals in real time by a D/A converter 3 and are restored to analog signals of the luminance signal Y and color difference signals R-Y and B-Y again.
