Automatic traveling speed change gear for agricultural vehicle

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To simplify a structure by forcing the speed change control of a speed change gear for traveling use, which is interlocked with the ascent and descent of a working device, to operate by changing the clearance between split pulley sections. CONSTITUTION:A pulley 23 around which transmitting belts 10, 11 wound is composed of the first split pulley section 25, the second pulley section 26 which is so mounted on a working shaft 5 that it may be rotated together but free in sliding and the third split pulley section 2. Clearances between respective pulleys are changed by a speed-change can device 31 so as to be changed for high speed or low speed. The speed-change can device 31 is provided with such an interlocking mechanism 32 as will be operated to the low speed side when a working device 3 is lifted and to the high speed side when it is lowered. For this reason, an exclusive particular speed change gear for automatic speed change can be made unnecessary.
