Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To aim at preventing select shock, by fastening a frictional component upon idle operation with the use of a line pressure which is changed transiently around the idle pressure. CONSTITUTION:The urging force of a spring element in a regulator valve 2 is set to be weaker than an idle set pressure, and an insufficiency in the urging force is compensated with a control pressure fed from a control valve 7. Further, the control valve is transiently controlled in accordance with the operating condition, to fasten the frictional component during idle operation at a pressure around idle pressure. With this arrangement it is possible to reduce or prevent select shocks.
