Driving device for zoom lens system in lens shutter

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To render zooming power operated with a compact camera by inverting a motor when turning off a zoom switch during zooming, and after the passage of a prescribed time, stopping the motor. CONSTITUTION:Range finding is executed by light emitting and receiving parts 3, 4, a zoom lens barrel 1 is zoomed by a motor 5 and a pinion 7 and a variable power cam groove 55, a parallax correcting cam groove 56 and a strobe cam groove 57 formed on a cam plate 53 of a finder block 2 are made to correspond to zooming cam grooves. The rotation of the mirror barrel is controlled on 13 rotating positions POS by contacting the terminal of a brush with a conductive land. If a zoom switch is turned off when the lens barrel is zoomed when 2<=POS<=9 during the rotation of the motor 5 after range-finding, the motor is reversed, and after the passage of time required for removing backrush, the motor is stopped. Consequently, zooming can be turned to power with the compact camera.
