Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To improve the manufacturing efficiency while simplifying the design of peripheral buffer block by a method wherein the peripheral buffer block is composed of multiple divided rectangular parts to be arranged making an oblique angle with each side of an element chip. CONSTITUTION:A peripheral buffer block 1 to be arranged between an inner circuit and an electrode pad 10 is composed of multiple divided rectangular parts 2-5 to be arranged making an oblique angle with each side of an element chip 11. For example, multiple electrode pads 10 are arranged on the peripheral parts of element chip 11 while peripheral buffer blocks 1 corresponding to respective electrode pads 10 are arranged from inside to outside of the element chip 11 in order of an input buffer and output transistor driving part 5, an output P channel transistor part 4, an output N channel transistor part 3 and an input protective part 2 with each making an angle of 45 deg. with each side of the element chip 11.
