Pay telephone charging system
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To offer a margin available from a normal call charged fee generated in the following control to an installing person by incorporating an equipment shortening further a normal charging time being a reference and controlling such that the time specified by a call distance between an originating place and a receiving one under a selecting reaction. CONSTITUTION:At calling, the 1st and 2nd charging pulses P11 and P12 are led to an input terminal 10 after the prescribed time passed. The 1st charging pulse P11 starts a counter 14 to count a clock signal CLK, and the counter 14 keeps counting until the 2nd charging pulse P12 is led to the counter 14. Namely a clock pulse signal measures the time intervals T1 of the 1st and 2nd charging pulses P11 and P12. The signal T1 of the counter 14 is led to a multiplier 16, which multiplies the signal T1. In this case, a multiplier alpha is preferably set to 0.5 to 0.8, is sent to a pay telephone from an output terminal 12. Then a newly shortened time interval for charging is set.
