Automatic control device for carburetor

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To precisely control the opening degree of throttle valve and choke valves, by driving the throttle and choke valves by means of stepping motors so that the opening degrees of both valves are controlled in accordance with the output of a control device which is set in accordance with the operating condition of an engine. CONSTITUTION:A main throttle valve 14 in a carburettor 10 is driven by a stepping motor 20 while a choke valve 12 is driven by a stepping motor 28, and sensors 24, 32 always detect the opening degrees of the valves. An ECU receives the above-mentioned opening degrees, the depressing degree of an accelerator, the temperature of cooling water, the rotational speed of an engine, etc. and controls the opening degrees of the choke valve 12 and the throttle valve 14. Further, the opening degrees are subjected to feed-back control.
